(NSS)<\/strong> <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>is a voluntary public service program aimed at developing the personality and character of students through community service. It encourages students to actively participate in social welfare activities and contribute meaningfully to society.<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Our college started the NSS unit in 14th October 2024, with a strong commitment to social responsibility and community development. Currently, the unit is functioning actively with one unit comprising 50 dedicated student volunteers.<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The NSS unit of our institution conducts various activities focusing on:<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Community development programs<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Environmental awareness campaigns<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Health and hygiene initiatives<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Blood donation camps<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Swachh Bharat activities<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Awareness rallies and social service programs<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Village adoption and rural development activities<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Through these initiatives, students develop leadership qualities, teamwork skills, social awareness, and a sense of civic responsibility.<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The NSS unit is guided and coordinated by our Respected Programme Officer, Mr. K. Vijayan, Assistant Professor, who leads and motivates the volunteers to actively participate in service-oriented activities.
